Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes
•
These Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes are rich, fudgy, and perfectly sweetened with maple syrup. Topped with a tangy tart cherry glaze and optional chocolate curls, they’re a decadent treat inspired by Italy’s love for chocolate and cherries.
What you need
- Cupcakes:
- 1 cup Choc-o-lotta AMORE Mix
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for richness)
- 2 tbsp milk or dairy-free alt (just enough to blend)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or coconut sugar (boost that fudgy sweetness)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips for extra gooey pockets
- Tart Cherry Glaze:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Tart Cherry Powder
- 1 tbsp milk or lemon juice
- Optional: cherry on top or chocolate curls
How to do it
- PREHEAT oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin.
- MIX all ingredients until a thick, scoopable batter forms.
- DIVIDE into 6 liners (they’ll rise just a bit, perfect for dense cupcakes).
- BAKE for 14–16 minutes—edges should be set but centers still soft.
- COOL slightly before glazing with that dreamy tart cherry drizzle.
