Mocha Blanket Cakes

A mocha, but on your plate. Still warm, cozy, and with the right balance of coffee & chocolate notes. Simply the perfect pick-me-up for a long day.
Gluten-free and with No sugar added, just like all Dilettoso recipes!
What you need
- 1 Cup Choc-o-lotta Dilettoso Mix
- 1/2 Cup Brewed Coffee
- Cooking spray of choice (we used avocado oil)
- Chocolate Sauce
- Powdered Sugar or Monkfruit

How to do it
- ADD the brewed coffee and the Dilettoso Choc-o-lotta Mix, to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine
- SPRAY cooking oil of choice on a pre-heated skillet.
- POUR batter into the skillet to make pancakes.
- FLIP pancakes to cook the other side.
- REMOVE cooked pancakes from skillet and continue to cook more pancakes until batter is gone.
- DRIZZLE with chocolate sauce, a dust of sugar-free powdered sugar, and serve.

The name "mocha" is derived from the Yemeni port of Mokha, which was a port well-known for its coffee trade from the 15th to 17th century. Today, we use the term MOCHA, to describe a drink that is a mixture of coffee and chocolate which is what has inspired these yummy pancakes.
