These Tiramisu Protein Balls bring the classic flavors of Italy’s beloved dessert into a healthy, gluten-free, and high-protein snack. Made with Dilettoso’s Vava Vanilla Mix, they feature the rich depth of espresso, a touch of creamy mascarpone, and a dusting of cocoa powder — all in a no-bake, bite-sized treat.  Each ball is packed with wholesome fats, slow-digesting carbs, and a customizable amount of protein, making them ideal for post-workout fuel or an afternoon pick-me-up. Plus, they’re easy to prep ahead and keep well in the fridge or freezer. Add a scoop of protein powder for an extra boost and enjoy a little taste of Italy in every bite.

What you need

  • 1 cup Dilettoso Vava Vanilla Mix
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 1 tbs almond butter
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • 3 tbsp espresso shot (sweetened or unsweetened)
  • Optional: 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • For dusting: unsweetened cocoa powder

How to do it

  1. WHISK the almond butter, mascarpone cheese, and two tablespoons of espresso shot, sweetened or unsweetened.
  2. ADD the Vava Vanilla Dilettoso Mix, and the protein powder, then combine well to form a dough.
  3. FOLD cacao nibs until fully incorporated.
  4. ROLL the dough into evenly sized balls using your hands.
  5. DUST the tops with unsweetened cocoa powder.
  6. CHILL in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
